No. YumQR works entirely in the browser. Guests scan the QR code and the menu opens instantly — no app downloads, no sign-ups.

YumQR is designed for any food & beverage business: restaurants, cafes, coffee shops, hotels, bars, pubs, food trucks, and catering services.

Is YumQR available in multiple languages?

Yes. YumQR supports multilingual menus so your international guests can browse in their preferred language. Language detection is automatic based on the guest's browser settings.

Setup & Getting Started

How long does it take to set up?

Most restaurants are up and running in under 5 minutes. Add your menu items, generate QR codes, and print them for your tables.

How do I create QR codes for my tables?

From the manager dashboard, go to the Tables section, add your tables, and click 'Generate QR Code'. You can download the QR codes as images or print them directly.

Can I customize my menu's appearance?

Yes. You can add item photos, descriptions, categories, and modifiers. The menu automatically adapts to your guest's device with a clean, mobile-optimized design.

Do I need any special hardware?

No. YumQR is a web-based system. All you need is a device with a browser to manage your menu, and printed QR codes for your tables.

Features

Can guests customize their orders with modifiers?

Yes. You can add modifiers to any menu item (e.g., 'Extra cheese', 'No onions', 'Medium rare'). Guests select their preferences when adding items to their cart.

Does YumQR support real-time order tracking?

Yes. Managers see incoming orders in real time on the dashboard. You can update order statuses (pending, preparing, ready, delivered) and guests can see their order progress.

Can I manage multiple restaurants?

Yes. One account can manage multiple restaurant locations, each with its own menu, tables, and settings.

What analytics does YumQR provide?

YumQR offers order analytics, popular items reports, and revenue tracking. Enterprise plans include advanced analytics with trends and export capabilities.

Pricing & Billing

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every new account gets a free 30-day trial with full access to all features. No credit card required.

What happens after the trial ends?

After the 30-day trial, your account moves to the Basic plan. You can upgrade to Pro or Enterprise at any time for additional features.

Can I change plans at any time?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your account settings. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing period.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal through our payment partner Paddle. All payments are securely processed.

Technical

Is my data secure?

Yes. YumQR uses industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS), secure databases, and follows best practices for data protection. Your restaurant and customer data is always protected.

Does YumQR work offline?

YumQR requires an internet connection for placing and receiving orders. The menu pages load quickly and work well even on slow connections.

What browsers are supported?

YumQR works on all modern browsers including Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge on both mobile and desktop devices.

Can I integrate YumQR with my POS system?
